I didn’t come to needlepoint all at once. It’s something that has quietly followed me through different seasons of life, waiting for me to return to it.

I first learned as a child, sitting beside my grandmother, watching her hands move with a kind of ease I couldn’t yet understand. She taught me not just how to stitch, but how something small and careful could become something lasting. 

Life grew fuller, louder, and busier. With three young children, my days are constant motion. But somehow, needlepoint found its way back to me. My sister has been part of that return. Her work is thoughtful and beautiful, the kind that reminds me why this craft matters. She’s kept me inspired, gently pulling me back in, showing me what’s possible with thread and canvas.

Today, needlepoint is more than a hobby. It’s a thread that connects generations — my grandmother to me, me to my children, and, I hope, to others who find their way here. It’s a way of preserving something meaningful in a world that moves quickly. A way of creating pieces that hold memories, tell stories, and are meant to last.

This space is a reflection of that: simple, intentional designs meant to be stitched, shared, and passed down. Because the most beautiful things aren’t just made, they’re carried forward.
